Fungicolous, Lichenicolous, and Myxomyceticolous Species. Mem (48)

This volume is an account of hypocrealean fungi that have white to pale yellow or orange perithecia and that, for the most part, occur on ascomycetes. Included here are also related species that occur on lichens or myxomycetes and, while not obviously fungcolous, occur on substrates that are colonized by other fungi and thus may be fungicolous. Sixty species in the genera Hypocreopsis, Nectria, Nectriopsis, Peristomialis, and Trichonectria are discussed. Includes keys, descriptions, and black and white illustrations.
